A Message from the Principal

MISSION

Through our standards-based curriculum, students develop academic and social skills, as well as an appreciation of languages and cultures, to prepare for college and careers. We recognize the inter-dependency of the modern world and education. Therefore, we strive to develop students who are literate in two of the world’s dominant languages and challenge students to excel in the languages of mathematics, science, history, and the arts. Upon graduation, World Language students are prepared with the skills needed for their post-secondary success.

VISION

World Language High School is committed to the development of young people who value cultural experiences, ethnic diversity, and life-long learning.

Located on the Little Village Lawndale High School Campus, World Language High School specializes in developing students who are literate in two of the world’s dominant languages: Spanish and English.  We take pride in ensuring that our students are fully bilingual and able to communicate fluently and professionally in both languages thus greatly enhancing their academic and career opportunities.
