A Message from the Principal

At Henry H. Nash School of Fine and Performing Arts, we create a vibrant, welcoming environment where students are excited to learn and grow. Our curriculum is rooted in the district’s research-based Skyline Curriculum, designed to inspire curiosity and a love of learning through engaging activities like responding to thought-provoking reading and writing prompts, student-led discussions, hands-on math challenges, and inquiry-based science projects. We place a strong emphasis on social-emotional well-being, incorporating Second-Step, Calm Classroom, and Class Catalyst into daily routines and partnering with Communities In Schools to offer well-rounded support for every student. Our inclusive K-5 cluster program celebrates diversity and ensures that all students, including the 30% with significant to profound disabilities, feel seen, heard, and valued. At Nash, every student is encouraged to dream big, take creative risks, and thrive in an environment that champions their unique potential and passions.
