A Message from the Principal

George B. Armstrong School of International Studies is a proud neighborhood school dedicated to connecting academic programs with our students’ cultural heritages. We offer state-of-the-art facilities for science and art, as well as internet access in both the computer lab and every classroom. Our key partners, including S&C Electric Co. and Junior Achievement, enhance our mission to provide a world-class education.

At Armstrong, we believe in the power of partnership between three essential pillars of a successful education: students, parents, and school staff. Together, we share a collective responsibility to empower our youth to achieve their highest potential.

  • Parents commit to ensuring their children arrive at school daily, ready to learn and in peak mental and physical condition.
  • Students commit to dedicating their full effort to the learning process, seeking academic and extracurricular opportunities, and prioritizing their education above all else.
  • Armstrong staff commits to maintaining a safe, well-managed institution staffed with highly skilled, compassionate, and motivated professionals, offering a broad range of educational opportunities tailored to student growth.

Our students have boundless potential, and by working together, we can help them seize opportunities that align with their dreams, talents, and ambitions. With clear expectations and a shared commitment to excellence, we can build a vibrant community of lifelong learners. The best is yet to come as we work together to prepare our students for the bright futures that await their creativity, innovation, and leadership.

Together, we are "Building Champion Tigers."

Our core values guide this mission:

T – Try your best
I – Integrity
G – Global learners
E – Exceed expectations
R – Respect yourself and others
S – Socially responsible

Thank you for your dedication, collaboration, and passion in making George B. Armstrong School of International Studies an exemplar institution for learning. Let’s continue to inspire our students to dream big, achieve more, and lead with purpose.
