HSAT percentiles will be converted to points using the HS Scoring Rubric. Students are selected in descending total point order on a 900 point scale, with 450 points coming from the HSAT and 450 points coming from the final (cumulative) 7th grade report card. Queue Priorities

Academic Centers, housed in high schools, offer high-achieving students the opportunity to take advanced classes. Admission requires applicants to take the Regional Gifted Center exam, which assesses reasoning skills and problem-solving ability. Applicants are evaluated on their exam score and cumulative grades from the previous school year, with a maximum score of 600 points—300 from the exam and 300 from grades.
