Race Is Not Neutral: A National Investigation of African American and Latino Disproportionality in School Discipline
Reviewed disciplinary data from elementary and middle schools in the 2005–2006 school year.
The findings of the study state African American and Latino children are referred for disciplinary actions at higher rates than their white peers perpetuating the education debt.
