An equity champion is a person who believes and acts in ways that support all students and adults no matter their backgrounds. They are visionaries who lead for equity even when it's tough. They aren’t perfect—they embrace humanity in all its imperfections and also embrace equity as a lifelong journey. They continuously reflect on their practice, examine their beliefs, and work to be inclusive. Read the stories of individuals driving change in the District.
