ACVA’s ongoing partnership with the Design Museum of Chicago centers on the elementary and high-school exhibitions. The high school exhibition showcases 2D, 3D, and digital artwork by students in grades 9th-12th and the elementary exhibition features work by students from PreK through 8th grade.
ACVA Elementary and High School Exhibitions
All-City Visual Arts’ elementary and high school exhibitions are collaborations between the Department of Arts Education and Design Museum of Chicago. The ACVA exhibitions showcase 2D, 3D, and time-based artwork by CPS students in grades PreK–12 from any CPS school (including district-managed, charter, contract, and options schools).

Senior Portfolio
Senior Portfolio is a partnership between the Department of Arts Education and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Senior Portfolio gives CPS high school seniors the opportunity to exhibit their artwork while gaining exposure to admissions representatives of colleges and universities.

Senior Portfolio Selection Process
- Student work will be considered for inclusion in the Exhibition (both physically at SAIC* AND virtually on the website) OR in the Honorable Mention section (virtually on the website).
- At least one (1) piece from each school that submits will be in the Exhibition and/or Honorable Mention section of the website.
Art on the Mart 2025
For SY24/25, any artwork submitted to the All-City Exhibition (Elementary and High School) or Senior Portfolio will be automatically considered for inclusion in ART on THE MART 2025! Additionally, K-12 teachers are welcome to submit classroom collaborations for consideration for inclusion in both All-City and ART on THE MART.
