Standards for Success
The Standards for Success are guiding documents for Fine and Performing Arts Schools to implement an arts-rich program focus. They are rooted in process-based arts learning and arts integration and, depending on the school, are tailored to different models of instruction.
Whole School Model: this is a wall to wall, bell to bell approach that encompasses every learner, teacher, and stakeholder on your campus.
Academy Model: this is a model for larger high schools that are implementing multiple programs on their campus.
Arts Integration Toolkit
Arts Integration is an approach to teaching and learning in which students construct and demonstrate understandings at the natural intersections between arts and non-arts content areas. Students engage in a creative process that connects an art form and another subject to meet the standards of both.

MCLT Resources
What is an MCLT? The Magnet Cluster Lead Teacher (MCLT) is the main point of contact at the Fine and Performing Arts (F&PA) School. The MCLT acts as a liaison between the local school community and the Department of Arts Education (DAE). The MCLT supports arts education and integration best practices and helps monitor implementation of the Standards for Success. The MCLT acts as an advocate for the arts within the building.
