The development process of the Arts Education Plan 2.0: Cultivating Creativity emphasizes continuous engagement and collaboration, ensuring that the final plan is truly reflective of our community’s vision for arts education in CPS.

Our process is divided into four main phases

Preparation and Context-setting (May - June)

In this phase, we define the project objectives, understand the current state of arts education within CPS, and prepare for engagement. This foundational work sets the stage for a successful and inclusive development process.

 Engagement (July - October)

During this phase, we will gather feedback and recommendations from both internal and external stakeholders. This includes students, parents, teachers, arts partners, and community members. Your input is critical to ensuring that our plan reflects the diverse needs and aspirations of our community.

 Draft Development (October - December)

Based on the feedback and recommendations collected, we will refine these insights into a draft plan document through a cross-sector working group. This group will work collaboratively to ensure the plan is comprehensive, practical, and forward-thinking.

Socialization and Finalization (January - March)

In the final phase, we will socialize the draft with key stakeholders to gather further input and finalize the plan. This step ensures that the plan is well-vetted and ready for implementation. By the end of March, we aim to have a finalized plan that is ready to be put into action.
