The Chief Executive Officer shall decide whether and when a layoff of employees or a reduction in the Board’s workforce should occur. The decision to lay off employees or conduct a reduction in force may be based upon enrollment projections, reorganizations, and/or budgetary, financial, and/or operational needs. The Chief Executive Officer or his/her designee shall implement such layoffs or reductions in force. Selection of employees for layoff who are covered by collective bargaining agreements shall be in accordance with such collective bargaining agreements and the Board’s layoff policies.
