About the school

Chicago Math and Science Academy (CMSA) is Where Excellence Thrives. CMSA has been rated as Level1 school by Chicago Public School for 8 years in a row. We are a public charter school serving Chicago students in grades 6-12. Our school is located in Rogers Park and most of our students walk to school. CMSA is a diverse community with over 40 countries represented in our school community.

Since 2004, our mission has been to change the trajectory of our students’ lives by providing a rigorous, STEM focused (science, technology, engineering, and math) curriculum while creating an effective, equitable learning community with high 185 days of instruction.
