How to to Find Your Student’s Tier
Type the student’s primary address in the School Search Tool and their tier will appear. You can also find their tier when you start a GoCPS application.
Non-Resident Tier Determination
If you don’t have a Chicago address at the time you apply, your tier will be determined based on the median family income for the census tract where you reside at the time of submitting your GoCPS application. If you live outside of the United States, your designated tier will be Tier 4.
